If you are renting a home or an apartment, contact your landlord ahead of time that you are moving to a new condo so you can get your security deposit back. If you are moving to a new city, consider changing your mailing address to avoid unnecessary complications. Cancel existing subscription bills that would be of no use to you anymore: cable, landline, internet, gym memberships, etc.
